Abbey Green

The Abbey Green is an important recreational and heritage space in the Town Centre. That's why there are plans to include more spaces for people to relax and socialise, especially younger people.  

There will be well-lit paths between the town and the River Roding through Abbey Green, and towards Town Quay. 

The areas beside the River Roding will have safe routes for cycling and walking, and efforts will be made to improve the biodiversity of the green spaces throughout the town.
