Sue Bramely/Thames View Skate Park

We are really excited that Sue Bramely Skate Park has been nominated to receive £1000 for physical activity sessions in the park this summer.

We asked local park users to vote for their favourite activity and the votes are now in! We are really pleased to announce that Humourisk have been awarded funding to deliver Bring Your Own Wheels! a skate/scooter/bike event at Sue Bramely/Thames View Skate Park this summer.

‘Bring Your Wheels’ will be a fun interactive skate/scooter/ bike event led by two professional skateboard/ inline skate facilitators. This event will build engagement and confidence and encourage a skating scene to grow. There will be one-to-one support from the skate facilitators. The skate activity will include games designed to incorporate health and safety themes; exercises to build confidence using the skate bowl safely. Participants will need to bring their own wheels and they must have a helmet to patriciate. There will be a few spare scooters and helmets, to ensure every child can have a go.
