We are really excited that St Chad's Park has been nominated to receive £1000 for physical activity sessions in the park this summer.
We asked local park users to vote for their favourite activity and the votes are now in! We are really pleased to announce that Dagenham and Redbridge FC Community Trust have received funding to deliver multi-sport fun for families in St Chad's Park this summer.
This will involve fun filled multi-sport activities for families to encourage young people and their parents or carers to come together, exercise, have fun, develop new skills and techniques, step outside comfort zones, engage with and meet others and develop other soft social skills eg communication, problem solving, team building.
The activities will run from 5pm to 6pm every evening from Monday the 14th of August to Friday the 19th of August. There is no need to book - just show up!
Meet the coaches at the Alexandra Road entrance to the park just before 5pm!
