Local Supplier Procurement Survey

The council currently spends approximately £400m/year procuring goods and services, providing a significant lever to influence the practices of wider organisations operating in the borough and deliver improved outcomes for residents in the context of limited resources.

The council already considers how it can deliver additional economic, social and environmental benefits for the community through our Social Value policy. The policy means the council aims to work with organisations who share our values and commitment to the borough, and asking those that want to contract with the council to deliver in a way that creates additional benefits for our residents and communities. However, we want to understand how we can improve the volume of local suppliers who work with us and have therefore prepared a short survey which we hope you will complete. It should take about 10 minutes.

The closing date has been extended to Wednesday 13th October 2021.
