Integrated Commissioning and Market Management Restructure for People and Resilience

The 2017 restructure of the Adults’ and Children’s Commissioning functions was successful in establishing a professional and well-respected service for Adults’ and Children’s Care and Support which, alongside colleagues in Performance and Intelligence, leads all stages of the Commissioning Cycle and the promotion of the Council’s adopted Commissioning for Better Outcomes methodology.

We now need to move to the next stage of our structure in order to better support the statutory DASS and DCS functions; our three major Improvement Programmes (Children’s, Adults’ and Disabilities); robust financial processes; practice improvement; the integration agenda and the more robust commissioning of internal services.

Please visit the ‘Key Documents’ section and read the Consultation Report, view the proposed structures and look at the key timelines. Please consider all of the proposals carefully and provide us with your feedback by clicking on the ‘Provide feedback’ button below. It is really important that you have your say as your comments will shape the final structure – this is not a ‘done deal’ and we really want to hear your thoughts to make sure that we have the right structure in place to meet the needs of local residents, the local authority and our provider market. You can provide individual feedback or feedback as a team or a group of individuals.
