Covid-19 secure – service and site risk assessments for Children's Care & Support
This consultation is for all staff in Children’s Care & Support Operations. All workplaces must be Covid-19 Secure, which means every organisation must;
- Demonstrate compliance with the 5 steps to safer working together and display notices confirming this.
- Be transparent in assessing risks, working closely with and consulting with trade union representatives and our employees.
- Ensure Risk assessments are completed on the generic COVID-19 corporate template.
- Publish agreed risk assessments on our intranet and website.
- Undertake individual health risk assessments for key workers, to identify specific risks for BAME employees and those in clinically vulnerable groups.
- Keep risk assessments, including individual risk assessments under review. Managers should see the risk assessments as live documents and initially until September, keep under monthly review or as a result of new guidance. Individual risk assessments should be kept under monthly review through one to ones between the employee and the line manager.
There are 2 types of risk assessment your Children’s Leadership Team would like to share with you all and get your feedback/input/suggested amendments/questions.
- Service risk assessment which covers all staff in Children’s Care & Support
- Site risk assessment which covers the buildings we work in
- Roycraft House
- Mayesbrook (recently updated)
