About the Project

👪 The skate park used to be a bit neglected, but by working together with residents and with funding from Clear Channel it’s now a vibrant community space for people of all backgrounds!

A massive thank you to all for suggesting ideas and being involved in the Thames View Skate Park revamp project

Local residents have led the way in creating a multigenerational space that is welcoming to everyone of all abilities, a place to relax in comfort amongst others in the open air.

Working with the Council, they have transforming the under-used skate park in the middle of Thames View Estate to a space appealing and engaging for children and young people and plenty of seating to increase the opportunity for residents to meet, chat and feel part of their community.
