Pre-Process NCIL Evaluation: Panellists

Thank you for agreeing to take part in this process. We believe your commitment will be significant and we are very grateful for the time you have offered to give to serve other residents of Barking and Dagenham. We believe increasing collaboration and participation in decision making will improve outcomes for our borough. Your feedback is critical in making sure we learn about how to do this well.

The evaluation that we will conduct at different stages of this process is for us to better understand how we can improve the experience, and the value it adds. We would also like to share learning from this process more widely, so others can learn from your experience. We are asking for your feedback at the start of this process, at the end of the process and finally six months after the process has finished, if you give your consent for us to do so.

  • Cohesion

Despite the borough’s diversity, many of us spend little time with people from other walks of life. This problem is not specific to Barking and Dagenham, it happens across the country and can magnify divisions. As one borough, one community, we want to understand better how different activities bring people together. We think that participating in decision making is one important way to do this, and your experience will help us to understand how it can work better.
