Cleanliness of the Estate
Routine Cleansing and Bin Collection
We are committed to maintaining a clean and pleasant environment at Millard Terrace.
At present your Caretaker(s) should be onsite Monday – Friday between 06:00am – 13:00pm and on Saturday and Sunday they empty bins, clean the stairwells and identify any health and safety concerns.
We are conducting a thorough review of our current cleaning schedules to determine if additional resources are needed. This includes exploring new equipment and services for deep cleaning the stairwells to ensure they are clean and hygienic.
Safety and Crime Prevention
Enhanced CCTV Coverage We are expanding our CCTV coverage across Millard Terrace to improve security and deter criminal activities. This upgrade will help us monitor key areas more effectively and ensure a safer environment for all residents. This will feedback to our Control Room that monitor the screens so far this year they have picked up 301 incidents from Millard Terrace, and depending on the seriousness of incident captured, the following services were contacted
- The Met Police,
- The Council’s Community Safety Enforcement team,
- The Council’s appointed security team, MPD FM.
- Outreach for homeless or rough sleepers.
Collaborative Security Measures
In partnership with Design Out Crime officers, we are reviewing our current security measures. Our goal is to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies that enhance the safety of our community. Stay tuned for more updates on this initiative.
Police Initiatives
Our local police team is actively working on various initiatives to address crime and anti-social behaviour. They are conducting joint patrols and resident surgeries to engage with the community and address your concerns.
In September 2024, 28 Community Safety Patrols were carried out between 07:00 – 21:00 that resulted in individuals being moved on from the estate.
In addition to this the Heathway team have executed 3 warrants which linked to Millard Terrace which has resulted in 7 arrests, one partial Closure Order and one Community Protection Notice (CPN) being issued.
