London Crime Prevention Fund Community and Voluntary Sector 2025 - 2027
The Mayor of Policing and Crime (MOPAC) provides London Crime Prevention Fund (LCPF) to local authorities to commission services and interventions to support crime reduction.
The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham (LBBD) have allocated funding to the community and voluntary sector to offer services and interventions to meet the CSP priorities. The Council's CSP has 5 priority areas which are:
Keeping children and young people safe
Reducing reoffending
Standing up to hate crime intolerance and extremism
Tackling safety in the neighbourhood and community
Tackling violence against women and girls
Cross cutting themes
Support to Victims
Perceptions of safety
Reduction in violence
The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham (LBBD) Community Safety Partnership (CSP) invites applications from consortiums for the delivery of innovative programmes to create a safer community.
This Invitation to Apply (ITA) will allow the Council to obtain information on proposals of interventions and projects to support the award of funding into the community and voluntary sector.
Applications will close on Friday 23rd May 2025.
This can be subject to change depending on applications received. The Council are looking to fund community and voluntary sector organisations through a consortium to deliver programmes to address priorities set out in the attached specification. The CSP are seeking to commission a consortium to deliver interventions and/or provision to address;
Violence against women and girls – we are interested in any provisions during the Lost Hours directed at young school age females. This can include and limited to current or new programmes, engagement including parents and carers, events and Safe Spaces.
Robbery and/or Knife Crime – focusing on engagement, data and intelligence gathering, engagement with parents and carers, diversionary projects and preventing children and young people from becoming victims and/or perpetrators of robbery and knife crime offences.
