What happens to the policy after consultation?

    All responses received will be considered and the policy further revised where appropriate. The revised policy will be returned to elected members for further consideration and eventual adoption by Assembly in 2022.

    Can I object to a licence?

    New applications under consideration go through a four week public consultation during which they are advertised in the local press, by way of a public notice displayed outside of the premises and upon the Council’s web site. 

    Representations may be by people affected by the application under any of the licensing objectives. Representations must be made in writing to the licensing team by the stated deadline date.

    Can I complain about licensed premises in my area?

    Complaints may be made to the licensing team at licensing@lbbd.gov.uk . All complaints will be investigated.
