Inclusive Growth: Our plans to boost the local economy, enhance the borough and improve the lives of residents
Consultation has concluded
Barking and Dagenham Council has developed a draft Inclusive Growth Strategy 2022-2026 and we are keen to capture the views of residents and other key stakeholders. Our Inclusive Growth Strategy sets out our ambitions over the next four years and we aim to boost the local economy and improve the wellbeing and prosperity of all our residents, including the most vulnerable. Poverty, homelessness/housing issues, the environment and unemployment are social and economic barriers which have a negative impact on residents/families. Inclusive Growth aims to remove these barriers to ensure that all residents benefit from economic growth in the borough.
Why do we want to hear from you ?
Our Strategy is a draft and we are keen to see whether we captured the key issues that are important to our residents such as housing and employment. Your views are important to us and we would appreciate it if you could fill in the following brief confidential questionnaire which will take approximately 5 minutes to complete.
What happens next ?
This consultation will end on Monday 7th November 2022 and we will carefully consider your comments and feedback and where possible, amend our draft Strategy to take your views into account. We will also use your feedback to help to finalise our Delivery Plans (the programme and projects we intend to delivery in order to support this Strategy). Your feedback will help to inform the final version of the Strategy before it is formally approved by the Council.
