Help shape the future of Marks Gate

How do you feel about living in Marks Gate now? And, how would you like the area to change in the future?

These are two of the many questions we’ll be asking residents over the coming weeks as we try to draw up a vision for the future of the area.

Like every neighbourhood, Marks Gate has its strengths and weaknesses. It also faces some threats and there are opportunities on the horizon too. We’d like to know how we should address these and what are your priorities for change as a local resident.

So, over the coming weeks we will be giving you a number of chances to share your ideas.

What we have done so far?
We have already started to invest in the future of your community.

  • We’re building badly needed affordable homes for local people alongside Padnall Lake
  • We have agreed to fast track the improvements to the lake itself to make it a real asset that all local residents can enjoy
  • We’re asking our contractors to employ more local people
  • We have worked with Everyone Everyday to help them open a community shop

But this is just the start! So, we want your views
