As part of our plans to make parking fairer and consistent across Barking and Dagenham, we are considering where it might benefit local people if a permit-controlled parking area is introduced.

Our aim is to increase safety, provide greater access for the emergency services, promote considerate parking and improve air quality and encourage sustainable travel by reducing car ownership and the amount of journeys in the borough.

We are proposing to extend Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) CH, which operates Monday - Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm, to your road.

Extending the CPZ will help create safer roads and pavements by reducing the number of non-local vehicles that can park in your area and making parking more clearly defined and easier for residents.
