Last year residents got in touch to ask if we could help to map where the Christmas lights across the borough were.
This year we've been asked to make the Christmas lights map available again - residents can also include events and support that's available in the run up to and over Christmas.
There are 3 types of pins your can add to the map:
Lights
Click on the map below, drag the pin to the location of your home, or some amazing lights you have seen. Add a comment so people know what to expect- something like 'a lovely Christmas scene in the front garden' or 'a whole house and garage are completely covered in lights'. You can also upload a photo.
Events
Drag the events pin onto the map at the location where your event is taking place. Add information, including when your event is taking place, what the event is, who is organising it and of course the date and time. Include where people can find out more information- eg through adding a web link
Support
Drag the support pin onto the map at the location where support is available. Add information, including what support is available, for whom, and when. Include contact details, like a phone number or web link.
STREET TREES TRAIL
Below is a map of all the Trees Church at Riverside have dotted around Barking Riverside. The Tree will be up from around the 4th December.
Church Riverside will be providing free, plain wooden decorations handed out by Street Hosts for residents to decorate and add to their nearest tree.
Information about Street Trees will be available on their webpage, so keep an eye out for updates and how to get involved!!
