So, you are thinking about nominating yourself to be a member of the Barking & Dagenham (BAD) Youth Forum. Before the elections take place, we want to make sure you are clear about the role and responsibilities of being a forum member.
As a member of the Youth Forum you will be expected to regularly attend sessions at the Vibe Youth Centre once a week on either a Tuesday or Wednesday depending on which subgroup you join. Other opportunities will arise during the year where you will be invited to give your views and opinions as a young person representing the forum, as well as participate in trips and visits.
Youth forum sessions are very relaxed and fun. You will meet new friends and have the chance to work on issues that affect young people in the borough.
