BUSINESS ADMIN
The knowledge and transferable skills gained in a business administration course will help you to pursue employment opportunities in many different industries.
Prepare for the modern working environment with an introduction to marketing, accounting, customer care, human resources and ICT.
CHILDCARE
If you love the idea of working with younger children, a rewarding career in an early years setting could be for you.
Currently, there are many opportunities available in childcare; roles could include working as a childminder, nursery nurse, early years practitioner or a nanny.
DIGITAL SKILLS
Computers and mobile devices can be used to work, shop, research and communicate. Courses can show you how to make use of technology.
With so many options to choose from, it won’t be long before you’re an expert in digital skills.
EMPLOYABILITY
Employability courses help you to develop a range of skills to build your confidence and awareness of your transferable skills. It will help to prepare for interviews, create a CV and complete online job applications.
ENGLISH There are a variety of courses, at different levels including GCSE English, that will give you recognised qualifications as well as practical skills to help in everyday life. To enrol on to one of these courses, you will need to attend an introductory course to determine the right level for you.
HEALTH & SOCIAL SKILLS
If you are seeking a rewarding job that will help you to make a difference in people’s lives, our courses could offer you the skills and confidence to take the first step.
Roles in health and social care include health care workers, social workers and care workers. We work with many care work agencies and partners to give learners an insight into the health and social care industry.
ESOL
Following an ‘Initial Assessment’ course, you will be placed in an ESOL class that is suitable for you and your level. Your class will be a chance to practice all aspects of the English language including grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. You will be able to check your progress in many ways during the course, as we offer an online assessment, paper assessments, self-assessment, tutor observation, one-to-one interview and classroom-based tasks. Most importantly, you will be prepared for the end of course exam helping you to pass and achieve your goals.
Following the successful completion of your course, you will be supported to enroll on to the most suitable course for the next level.
TEACHING ASSISTANT
Our popular courses explore how to work in a school setting as a teaching assistant. Teaching assistants support teachers and help children with their educational and social development. Typical responsibilities may include listening to children read, helping those in need of additional support, preparing the classroom and supporting the teacher to plan activities.
Gain the knowledge and skills you need to help pupils get the most from every lesson. It could be the start of a new career!
MATHS
To find out more about GCSE Maths, you can take the ‘Get Ready for GCSE Maths’ course. Enrolment on to the full GCSE course requires you to first attend ‘Access to GCSE Maths’.
